L'institut Pascal propose deux sujets de stage sur la caractérisation mécanique et hygrothermique de blocs de bétons de chanvre compactés de manière sélective :
- internship offer 1: Investigation of the hygrothermal behavior of these novel masonry blocks. The study will include:
- Experimental testing of hygrothermal properties, including moisture buffer value, thermal conductivity, water vapor diffusion, thermal diffusivity, and thermal effusivity.
- Numerical modeling to characterize coupled heat and moisture transfer within the different zones of the blocks.
- Full-scale wall tests, in which masonry walls will be constructed with two different block orientations and evaluated through measurements of thermal transmittance (U-value), phase shift and infrared thermography
- internship offer 2: Investigation of the mechanical behavior of these novel masonry blocks. The study will include:
- Compression tests with digital image correlation (DIC) to determine the compressive strength and elastic modulus of the blocks.
- Shear and pull-out tests to characterize the mechanical behavior at the interfaces between selectively compacted zones.
- Full-scale wall tests, where masonry walls will be built using two different block orientations and subjected to compression and shear loading.
